On a US Navy ship the 1MC is the general public address system. It is used for general announcements and passing official information to the crew. Our 1MC page is where cadets will find information and resources needed for unit business. Check this page weekly for information you will be responsible for knowing at the next drill.

The summer training schedule is available on the national HQ training and education page Compass.SeaCadets.Org.

Cadets are NOT to contact COTC's directly. Once a cadet has identified a training that cadet is to send an e-mail to stating which training, what location and the dates. After the Training Officer verifies the cadet's eligibility a quota will be requested by the Training Officer and Instruction sent to the cadet. Failure to follow these instructions may result in the COTC being unwilling to assign a quota to the cadet.

Recruit Training (RTC) for Northern New England  (RTMA) will be held at Fort Devens, MA, a new location, from 1 to 10 Aug,  this year. Check the Compass Page and http://www.rtc.nsccregion1.org/ for the latest updates. Recruits and their parents will need to read and be familiar with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual available from the RTC Region 1 website listed above. A Mandatory Parents Meeting will be scheduled, all cadets attending RTC as recruits mush have a parent at this meeting. Check back here for more detail.

A new national RTC policy has been promulgated. Recruits are expected to attend an RTC in their home geographical area. Exceptions may be made for good reason and on a space available basis but only after local cadet quotas are  filled.

The Naval Sea Cadets in Concord, New Hampshire, designed and maintain this site to provide information to unit members and the public on our activities in New Hampshire and elsewhere. This is an ongoing Sea Cadet project and continues to be a work in progress.
